President Jacob Zuma assigned Three Ministers to Lilly Mine.

President Jacob Zuma has assigned three ministers to provide support to the affected families at Lily Mine in Barberton.

Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane, Minister of Women in the Presidency Susan Shabangu and Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini have all been selected to help. 

The focus now is on rescuing the three trapped workers.

Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane  said "The issues of investigations and the outcomes of what caused the accident, we will be able to deal with those issues after we have achieved our main goal of saving the people from this atrocity and moving forward.”

Officials hope to get rescue operations back on track.

The mine is waiting for experts to assess the situation.This after rescue efforts were halted on Saturday following another collapse.
