Two dead, three other injured in helicopter crash

Two people died and three were left injured after a helicopter crashed in a field near the hospital in Limpopo.

Er24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the smouldering wreckage of a helicopter lying in a field roughly 200 metres away from the hospital.” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.

Meiring added that the remains of two people were found in the helicopter. Three other had minor to moderate injuries due debris.

The reason behind the accident is not yet known.
