KZN IFP alleges MECs misusing state funds for campaigning

The Inkatha Freedom Party says it is deeply concerned about the ongoing use of state resources by MEC’s in KwaZulu- Natal when campaigning during by-elections.

IFP national chairperson, Blessed Gwala says, the IFP will not let this matter rest and will continue to challenge and question such unethical practices wherever they may occur.

“We also argue with the provincial government of KwaZulu-Natal that the war that is between parties in Kwazulu Natal where opposition parties campaign using their own resources but the ANC is using state resources openly.” Gwala added.
