Family injured in three car collision

A ten year old girl sustained critical injuries and her parent sustained minor to moderate injuries in a collision between three vehicles on the R71 between Tzaneen and letsitile.

ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing reported that ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on the scene and found that two bakkies and a car were involved in the collision.

There was debris all over the area.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that the child was in a critical condition.

The woman sustained moderate injuries and the father sustained minor injuries.

All the patients were transported to the Lethaba Hospital for further medical care.

The exact cause of the collision is unknown, however local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
