The Democratic Alliance announced on Saturday the reshuffling of the DA Shadow Minister Cabinet.

Ten people have been given new positions.

“This way we can allow that we attend to smaller key issues that speak to where their respective portfolio are at.” Mmusi Maimane said.

The most noticeable was that Dianne Kohler Bernard who was the Shadow Minister of Police was removed from her position and chosen to be the Shadow Deputy Minister of Public works.

This follows a Facebook post that Kohler Barnard shared. The post claims that South Africa was a much better country under PW Botha.

The post also goes onto to point out that Botha was much more honest than the current African National Congress leadership. Kohler Barnard apologised for the post.

She will face a disciplinary hearing next week.
