Fitzburg man dies in car accident

A
man who sustained critical injuries when he lost control of the vehicle he was
driving died in hospital last night.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene on the
R 26 about 10 km outside of Fitzburg and found a man laying on his back next to
the vehicle.
The vehicle which had rolled had landed on
its wheel in a ditch. Paramedics assessed the man and treated him.
“He had sustained multiple injuries. He was
transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.” ER24’s Chitra
Bodasing said.
The
exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further
investigations.
