Three children died in an accident in Mpumalanga

An accident last night in Middelburg, Mpumalanga left three children dead and two others seriously injured.

It is alleged that the vehicle had collided with a tree, tearing the car in half.

ER24 Spokesperson said when they arrived at the scene they found three children dead, entrapped in the vehicle for some time, and two others injured with injuries ranging from moderate to critical.

Rossouw added that they treated and transported one patient to MidMed Hospital for further treatment. The other patient was transported by another service

The exact details to the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
