A man killed on N12 highway in Bedford View

A man has died earlier this morning in a
collision on the N3 close to the Van Buuren Road
It is believed he attempted to cross the
highway when a vehicle collided with him.
ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said when
they arrived on scene, they found the
man lying on the road.
Bodasing added that there was nothing that they
could do for him. He was declared dead on scene due to multiple severe injuries
he had sustained. The truck driver was uninjured.
Exact details to the cause of the accident
will remain the subject of a police investigation.
