Minister of Home Affairs Malusi Gigaba today announced that Zimbabweans who are in the country can start renewing their special work permits as from next week.

Gigaba said this only applies to the 245 000 holders of the Dispensation
for Zimbabweans Project.
He added
that the department is ready to process all applications at the ten VFS offices
across the country. Capacity has been set aside within the Permitting section
to be able to process the applications.

Gigaba said currently there are 120 dedicated staff members who will be dealing
with ZSP applications. From October 1sr
Zimbabweans will be able to apply online as per the initial plan and not go to
the VFS offices.
