The missing girl was found at the residence of the suspect in Athlone and she is admitted to hospital,” Van Wyk said.
Captain FC van Wyk said it is alleged that
the girl was kidnapped from parent’s shack of Wednesday and was found in a
house in Athlone.
It is believed that the child was raped
when she was kidnapped.
“Maneberg Police members arrested a 46
year-old man on charges of kidnapping and rape following the disappearance of a
4 year-old on the 29 July.The missing girl was found at the residence of the suspect in Athlone and she is admitted to hospital,” Van Wyk said.
The suspect is due in the Athlone
Magistrate’s Court once he has been charged.
