Three motor vehicle collision leaves one person injured

An accident this morning at the intersection of Aliwal and Fourth Street in Bloemfontein has left one person seriously injured. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann said when paramedics arrived on scene they found that one person had sustained serious injuries after three motor vehicles collided.

Steinmann said the patient was treated on scene before being transferred to hospital for the further medical care that he required.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
