Five men arrested for robbing a casino in Mthatha

Eastern Cape Police today arrested five men who robbed Ritz Bingo Entertainment in Mthatha Plaza which is a casino. 

Eastern Cape Police Spokesperson Mzukisi Fatyela said the men where arrested in different areas within Mthatha. 

Fatyela said during the arrest police recovered two firearms, two millimetre pistols with eleven rounds of ammunition.

“The suspects have also been linked to other cases of armed robbery that has happened in the Mthatha area in the last few months” Fatyela added.

They are expected to appear in court soon.
