Couple survives an accident

A young couple narrowly escaped an accident after crashing their car through a fence on the side of the M5 in Rondebosch this morning.
The couple was on their way home when the driver unexpectedly lost control of the vehicle due to unknown reason.
The vehicle then swerves off the road, crashing through a steel fence.
The fence broke through the windscreen, narrowly missing the lady sitting in the front passenger seat.
Both the occupants of the car were visibly shaken by the event.
The patients were transported to hospital by an ambulance for further observation.
