A Johannesburg businessman and friend of murder accused Glenn Agliotti has been shot dead.
Chris Couremetis was at a wedding in Cradle restaurant in Muldersdrift on Sunday night when the incident happened.
According to media reports the guests described the incident as unusual and almost inevitable.
Twelve bullets were fired, Couremetis was hit twice but no other guests were injured.
The suspects stole his Rolex watch worth R400 000 and R10 000 in cash.
Police believe the notorious "Rolex gang" is behind the shooting.
