Grade 12 suicides might increase

We could see a possible increase in the number of suicides committed by matric learners this year.
Matric pupils are currently under severe pressure leading up to their final exams.
The main causes contributing would be the three-week public servants strike meaning they must play catch up to finish their syllabus and the month long World Cup.
The South African Depression and Anxiety Group said this puts them under additional pressure.
